Share with Vietnamese people, Phan Minh Huyen – Duong of “We are 8 years later” revealed that the film crew is in the final days of filming. However, unfortunately, the final scenes with many climaxes, many psychological and emotional developments fell right on the days when Hanoi was cold at only 8-9 degrees Celsius for a long time.
Low temperatures and frigid temperatures significantly affected the performance of the actors and film crew, especially on outdoor filming days. On the days of night filming, the temperature dropped and the cold increased. Many times, Phan Minh Huyen felt exhausted.
“In recent days, it’s been cold when we’re filming during the day, filming at night usually until 11-12 o’clock at night, filming outside is even colder, sometimes we can’t film anymore. Currently in the sprint phase, the film crew I’m very worried regarding the actors’ health problems, because at this time if any actor gets sick, it will affect the progress. I really don’t dare to get sick, but sometimes I feel exhausted” – Phan Minh Huyen shared.
Phan Minh Huyen was exhausted many times while filming “Us 8 years later” in the cold
Phan Minh Huyen said, every day when filming, she had to get up at 5 a.m. to go to the Vietnam Television Production Center to do makeup and then go. But, the weather was so cold that Phan Minh Huyen set the alarm clock but it took her five times to wake up. On a cold morning, filming in the face of harsh weather from early morning until late at night was truly a big effort for both the crew and the actors. Everyone dressed warmly, with thermal shirts and thick coats, but they were nothing compared to the cold.
“Filming on cold days like this, my emotions are greatly affected. Not only because of the cold, but the actors’ facial and mouth muscles are also affected, not being able to express as I want. Me and Mr. Manh Truong had to ask the director that emotional scenes be filmed in normal weather, because if it’s on a cold day, it won’t be able to perform well” – Phan Minh Huyen said.
When it was cold, Phan Minh Huyen as well as the actors in the film crew had to carry a blanket to keep warm when filming. Whenever there is no scene, I cover myself with a blanket to keep healthy. Wherever the film crew went, they had to light a big warm fire and equip the actors with heating bags. One day, Phan Minh Huyen and Manh Truong filmed a scene of eating pho right next to Giang Vo lake. The wind was cold, so the two artists had to wrap themselves in blankets and hold heating bags to complete the scene well.
This severe, harmful cold lasted quite a long time. Phan Minh Huyen shared that her intense work often left her exhausted. However, she and the actors all tried to stay in the best condition during the days. last to complete the mission.
“We hope the audience will accept and love the film more, understand the efforts of the film crew and our cast. We are trying our best to make the last days of filming perfect.” “- Phan Minh Huyen expressed.
