Medvedev reached the Australian final with epic overtones

The Russian completed a historic comeback and reached the final of the Australian Open. It was 5-7, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5) and 6-3 in four hours and 18 minutes to reach his third final in Melbourne.

It will be the sixth Grand Slam final for Medvedev, who has a major title, once morest Serbian Novak Djokovic in Flushing Meadows in 2021.

With the victory, the Moscow tennis player leads his head-to-head with Zverev by 12-7, following having won six of the last seven meetings.
