As we well know, January 2023 was an extremely difficult month for Tekashi 6ix9ine, the alleged boyfriend of Yailin La Más Viral, following being accused of sexist violence by the Dominican. As if that were not enough, the “Shaka Laka” singer was detained by Caribbean authorities and had to remain detained while his fate was debated in courts and judicial hearings.
Fortunately for Daniel Hernández, the rapper’s real name, his destiny was far from prison. It is known to date, according to the version of People in Spanish, that the musician paid close to $510 for bail, being released following 9 days of imprisonment in Santo Domingo.

It is worth specifying that it was Wanda Díaz, mother of La Más Viral, who was in charge of reporting 6ix9ine to the Dominican Republic police for having attacked her daughter and trying to throw her from a second floor. In fact, Cattleya’s grandmother also accused the New York rapper of trying to attack her when she was defending the 21-year-old model.
TEKASHI 6IX9INE’S FIRST WORDS AFTER LEAVING FREEDOM
It was Judge Faustina Veloz who did not determine that the evidentiary causes of the complaint once morest Tekashi were necessary to keep him in prison. For this reason, she ordered the release of the rainbow rapper on January 26 following almost 10 days of confinement.
Upon leaving the vicinity of the prison, Tekashi made some heartfelt statements and thanked those closest to him in front of the media. “Thanks to my family, my brother, for all the support that the Dominican people have given me,” she said.
Along these lines, prosecutor Rosalba Ramos, in charge of the rapper’s case, added that she would appeal the judge’s verdict, maintaining that Wanda Díaz “is in danger by not imposing the custodial measure requested by the Public Ministry.”

The prosecutor also asserted that “the right of the victim, Wanda Díaz Núñez, to be heard” would have been violated. Let us remember that, days ago, La Más Viral’s mother did not attend the hearing on January 25 due to strong health problems that made it impossible for her to walk.
“She, Wanda Díaz Núñez, presented a medical certificate that she might not be present. For this reason, we requested by virtue of this regulation that it be heard through the electronic tool that the court considered relevant and the judge did not accept it, violating the right of the victim,” Ramos elaborated on Yailin’s parent, who had requested to be heard by means of video call given his absence.
DETAILS ARE COMING OUT OF THE TEKASHI CASE: PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE ASSURES THAT THEY WOULD HAVE IGNORED MORE COMPLAINTS FROM THE VICTIMS
According to the prosecutor, the court would have ignored the 911 call that Anuel’s ex-wife made during the day of her daughter’s baptism. In that communication, the Dominican asked the authorities for help because she and her daughter were being victims.
In that sense, Ramos also stated that Tekashi had a cell phone in his cell, which he used to intimidate witnesses in order to hinder the entire investigation of the complaint.

Finally, the complaining party led by the prosecution pointed out that the rapper’s departure was something that put even the 10-month-old baby, Yailin and her mother, as well as “all the witnesses in the process” in danger.
