Five people died in a collision between a regular bus and a truck in the Krasnodar region. According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the accident occurred on January 28 at 01:30 on the 14th kilometer of the Caucasus highway.
“The accident occurred in the Pavlovsky district. According to preliminary information, the driver of a bus traveling from Moscow to Nalchik fell asleep at the wheel and drove into the oncoming lane. There, the bus collided with a Hyundai truck, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs Media website. There were 15 passengers and two drivers on the bus at the time of the accident.
At the moment, at least five deaths are known. These are two passengers and a bus driver, a passenger and a truck driver. Police officers are working at the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being established.
The bus driver allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and drove into oncoming traffic.
