The president of Synergy for Sustainable Development (S2D) is of the opinion that the parliamentary commission of inquiry should follow through. “It must be clarified,” he indicated. Souleymane Ndiaye who, during the conclave with party executives this morning, estimated that leaving this question unresolved would become a dangerous precedent for justice. “If there are judges who have been accused, this question must be clarified. Otherwise, tomorrow we will all be responsible for what might happen…” adds coalition member Benno Bokk Yakaar.
Remember that the Pds deputies submitted a request for the establishment of a parliamentary commission of inquiry to shed light on this “supposed corruption” of judges at the Constitutional Council. The Law Committee of the National Assembly meets this Monday to examine this resolution to this effect.
