The 6th edition of the Fipadoc festival, which is held every year in Biarritz, rewarded a documentary film co-produced by France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: “Un Pasteur”. To be discovered soon on France Télévisions.

This week, during the Fipadoc festival, the documentary film A pastor by Louis Hanquet, co-produced by Little Big Production and France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, was doubly awarded: national documentary grand prize and original music prize. The feature film follows the life of a melancholy and secretive young shepherd named Félix. He chose a profession “which isolates him and keeps him in a mineral and inaccessible world where an invisible being prowls: the wolf”. The young man agreed to have the director Louis Hanquet accompany him to try to understand what this loneliness that drives him is made of.

Two other France Télévisions films were rewarded: Against the Tide of Sarvnik Kaur for the Grand Prix competitive section “Impact” and 20 Days in Mariupol by Mstyslav Chernov for the Ciné+ prize. A very good vintage for public service channels.

The winning works will soon be discovered on france.tv. A pastor will be broadcast on the antennas of France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in France in real life, the box for documentaries in the regional offering of France Télévisions.

Fipadoc is an international festival which is held every year in Biarritz. It rewards the best documentaries and celebrates “singular and impactful stories”.
