Regular smartphones are no longer of interest to anyone. The era of AI backgrounds begins—devices in which all tasks are performed by neural networks.
The main star of the CES 2024 technology exhibition was the Rabbit R1, a compact phone of the future that runs on AI. The device is compared to half an iPhone. Hi-Tech Mail.ru told you more regarding the price and characteristics of the intonation device here.
Enthusiasts imagined what a full-fledged smartphone released by the startup Rabbit would look like. The concept of the unusual device belongs to the designer Shreyansh Onial. The author of the concept called his brainchild Rabbit R2.
Rabbit R2 doesn’t look like a regular smartphone. For example, the device has a completely frameless screen without cutouts or islands. Also on the side of the smartphone there are volume buttons and a round power button. The last time such buttons were released was during the iPhone 5S. Many people miss this solution.
It also seems interesting that the smartphone has two flashlights. One is located near the camera block, the second is on the upper edge of the device in the form of a small strip. Apparently, such a strip would serve as an indicator of notifications, calls and other actions.
The main feature of the Rabbit R2 smartphone would be the Rabbit OS operating system, whose operation is completely dependent on neural networks and artificial intelligence. A Rabbit OS user can control music, search the web, order a taxi, buy groceries, send messages and much more – all through a single interface. Applications cannot be downloaded.
Yanko Design Experts considerthat smartphones have become boring lately, not because technology has reached its peak, but because corporations are afraid of bold decisions. The hope is that small startups like Rabbit will be able to shake up the smartphone market and show how to make innovative and convenient products.
