A Vivo launched this Wednesday (24) the Vivo Box 5G, equipment that uses the fifth generation of mobile networks (5G) to provide ultra-speed fixed internet with easy installation. The device uses FWA technology that allows connection to the Internet through a combination of a 5G mobile plan and a Wi-Fi 6 router.
In addition to the high download and upload speeds and the possibility of connecting several devices simultaneously, the 5G Box also stands out for being self-installable, that is, it does not require specialized technicians or works or cable installations in the customer’s home, thus maintaining the aesthetics of the environment.
Mobility is one of the main novelties of this device, as through the data chip it is possible to use the Vivo Box 5G in the more than 170 municipalities that already have Vivo’s 5G network in Brazil, such as capitals and large urban centers. At launch, the product delivers 150 GB of consumption for R$150.00 per month, and can be contracted via 103 15 or online.
To have the complete solution it is necessary to purchase a router. Vivo has the GX 3000 router, from Intelbras, for R$ 1,499.00, payable in up to 18 installments on the Vivo Itaú card, or up to 10 installments on other cards. On the operator’s website (Click here) you can check if Box 5G is available in your region. To check the information, enter your zip code.
