The candidate for leadership of the PLQ Denis Coderre was stung by the reaction of liberal elected officials regarding his record at Montreal town hall. “He who is not worth a laughing stock is not worth much,” replied MP Marwah Rizqy.

“I don’t need to go to Thetford Mines to talk regarding the caucus,” said the former mayor of Montreal on a community radio station on Wednesday.
“A little less laughing regarding my assessment of Montreal will be nice because I think we contributed to the rebirth of Montreal. We scrapped it followingwards, but it’s not my fault and I think we’ve been able to talk since I’ve been here and my administration has been able to talk regarding corruption and all that, we’ve cleaned up,” said -he continued, in a bitter tone.
