Design and connectivity
realme 11 Pro Plus
Although we have two premium intermediaries here, you will find a structure made of plastic in them. What changes is at the back. The realme has a vegan leather back with a texture in the center that imitates a zipper, the result of a partnership with former Gucci designer Matteo Menotto, in addition to a large ring to house the lenses. The Redmi comes with a rectangular camera block and a glass cover, but without extra protection once morest scratches.
The 11 Pro Plus has the most compact and lightest body of the duo. On the other hand, the Note 12 Pro Plus responds with IP53 certification, which guarantees resistance once morest dust and water splashes. On the front, we have no surprises. Both have a notch in the form of a centralized hole.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus
realme inserted a fingerprint reader under the screen, while Xiaomi preferred a biometric sensor integrated into the power button. This is also the only one to come with an infrared emitter, which turns your cell phone into a remote control for your TV.
None of them support storage expansion, due to the lack of a microSD card slot. At least, the connectivity is pleasing in both, including sixth generation Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC, for contactless payments.
realme scores for its most modern, compact and light design; and Redmi stands out for its superior resistance and infrared emitter.

Bodies
realme used a 6.7-inch screen, slightly larger than the 6.67-inch screen chosen by Xiaomi, which compensates with the presence of Gorilla Glass 5, to give an extra layer of protection once morest scratches.
The two provide a number of similar features. We can include the 10-bit AMOLED panel, for reproduction of more than 1 billion colors, in addition to the high level of brightness, which provides good visibility on sunny days.
Both still deliver Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, for high fluidity both when navigating the system and in compatible games. HDR10+ technology appears in the duo, but only the Note is compatible with Dolby Vision.
In details, the point remains with Xiaomi.

As
In terms of audio, the manufacturers were bold and placed a reinforced stereo system in these devices. Both use the call speaker as a secondary channel, in addition to a third sound output on the top, to further expand the user’s immersion.
The sound power pleases them, even though they are far from perfect. The 11 Pro Plus improves quality more than the Redmi, thanks to its greater balance between bass, mids and treble.
At least the Note 12 Pro Plus has a physical connector to plug in a regular headset. But don’t expect to find a compatible accessory in their box.
The superior quality gives the point to realme.

System
The 11 Pro Plus comes out of the box with Android 13 natively, while the Note 12 Pro Plus still arrives with version 12 of the “little robot”. These manufacturers promise two software updates for these models, which guarantees superior longevity for realme.
The 120 Hz refresh rate helps both interfaces have good navigation fluidity. 5G technology is also present in both devices, to allow for a faster mobile network.
Realme stands out for offering shortcuts in the smart Sidebar and next to the biometric sensor, which has an integrated heart rate meter. In turn, Redmi also has a Sidebar to call your own, in addition to the gaming tool and various customization options.
Realme takes one more point.

Performance
The 11 Pro Plus comes equipped with a Dimensity 7950 mobile platform, said to be a rebranded version of the Dimensity 1080 that powers the Note 12 Pro Plus. The realme has 12 GB of RAM, more than the 8 GB of the Redmi version we tested. What does this result in practice? Our tests indicated that the extra memory allowed realme to be more efficient in multitasking and finish both rounds in four seconds less than its rival.
This superiority is confirmed in the benchmarks. The 11 Pro Plus easily beats Redmi in AnTuTu, as its score is around 27% higher in this indicator. At least, their GPU allows you to run even the heaviest games with high quality and extras activated.
It’s a point for realme.

Battery
Both contain a battery with 5,000 mAh capacity, an increasingly common number on the market. Does this mean they deliver the same autonomy? It’s not quite like that. We saw in our standardized tests that Redmi can be more efficient and lasts almost 28 hours away from the socket, two hours longer than the competitor.
Moving on to charging, realme comes with 100 W SuperVooc, which makes it possible to reach 100% in 50 minutes. It’s a good time, but not as long as Xiaomi’s 24 minutes, thanks to the 120 W adapter that comes with the product in the packaging.
This is an easy point for the Note 12 Pro Plus.

Cmera
Both have a photographic set consisting of a 200 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. In practice, they are divided into the best photos taken. Realme has the edge in terms of sharpness and night mode. The Redmi is above in colors and contrast.
At least, they both do a good job of blurring done via software. Their ultrawide is more limited compared to the primary lens, but it still doesn’t disappoint in the images. To top it off, the macro is the weakest of the duo, due to the low resolution and lack of autofocus.
The balance between them leaves this issue tied.

The 11 Pro Plus comes with a 32 MP front camera, while the Note 12 Pro Plus has a 16 MP sensor. realme takes clearer selfies, especially at night. Redmi gets better contrast than its rival during the day. At least their portrait mode doesn’t blow out the background, and head-on footage is limited to Full HD resolution.
