A Honda announced that it will offer the Wireless CarPlay for some older models of Accord, starting later this month. According to information from Autoblogthe Japanese automaker will offer the feature for versions from 2018 to 2022.

To access the functionality, you will need to go to a Honda dealership, where the car’s software will be updated. The cost of this update, however, has not yet been disclosed by the company.

Honda has also not yet specified when the upgrade will be available or from what point it will be possible to schedule an appointment to carry it out. However, she indicated that owners of the aforementioned model will be able to complete this process online to go to local dealerships.

While Honda has confirmed the availability of this upgrade only for certain Accord models, there’s no word yet on whether the company plans to extend it to other vehicles in its lineup.

O MacMagazine contacted Honda to find out if the update will be available for consumers in Brazil. We will update this story when we receive a response.
