The Development Financial Corporation (COFIDE) resumes the auctions of resources guaranteed by the Impulso Myperú program, which seeks to facilitate the access of more companies to working capital credits, acquisition of fixed assets (machinery, vehicles, infrastructure, etc.) and debt consolidation.
Thus, it announced that today (January 23, 2024) it will hold the first auction of the year for guarantees of up to S/ 600 million – extendable up to S/ 1,000 million – for financing with coverage of up to 90% and 98% of the total credit granted. by financial institutions and COOPAC.
The financial entities favored in this auction will be able to channel amounts in loans to micro and small businesses of up to S/ 30,000, with a 98% guarantee, and from S/ 30,001 to S/ 90,000 with a 90% guarantee.

Furthermore, it specifies that the term is no less than 12 months nor more than 60 months, with grace periods of no less than six months nor more than 24 months.
In the case of “Eligible Credit” granted to companies in the tourism, agriculture, construction and fishing sectors, the payment term can reach 72 months, including the grace period of up to 24 months (Article 2.7 of DU 039-2023) .
The reference rates for loans are as follows:
- Loan up to 12 months (6 months grace): Rate of 8.25% annual effective rate (TEA).
- Loan up to 24 months (6 months grace): Rate of 8.20% annual effective rate (TEA).
- Loan up to 36 months (12 months grace): 8.15% annual effective rate (TEA).
- Loan up to 48 months (12 months grace): Rate of 8.10% annual effective rate (TEA).
- Loan up to 60 months (12 months grace): Rate of 8.05% annual effective rate (TEA).
- Loan up to 72 months (24 months grace): 8.18% annual effective rate (TEA).
The allocation mechanism is the American auction, that is, each awarded entity must not charge a higher TCEA than its proposal in this auction.
The awarded financial entities will have up to 40 business days following the auction date to present the credit portfolio and up to 60 additional calendar days, counted from the confirmation of the presented portfolio, to disburse the credits.
