Hoang Duc and Bui Tien Dung appeared in The Cong Viettel’s match
Before the 2024 Asian Cup, the Vietnamese team received a series of bad news regarding personnel. Accordingly, many stars were injured and had to be returned to the club, including Nguyen Hoang Duc and Bui Tien Dung of The Cong Viettel or Nguyen Thanh Chung of Hanoi FC. After days of treatment at the club level, all three have completely recovered from their injuries.

Most recently, in the match of the Hana Cup 2024 friendly tournament, Nguyen Hoang Duc, Bui Tien Dung and Nguyen Thanh Chung all played immediately. Specifically, Nguyen Hoang Duc and Bui Tien Dung started for The Cong Viettel, while Nguyen Thanh Chung started in the reserve squad for Hanoi FC.
For most of the match, Hanoi FC was the better team. However, there are not too many truly clear opportunities created by the opportunity. Not being under pressure of performance made both Hanoi FC and The Cong Viettel play quite openly.

On Viettel’s The Cong side, Bui Tien Dung, Hoang Duc, Manh Cuong and Nham Manh Dung scored successfully, only Duong Van Hao missed.
Thus, coach Nguyen Duc Thang and his team won tickets to play in the Hana Play Cup 2024 final, facing a match between Daejeon Hana Citizen and Bali United.
