According to the Police, Molina was found in his home, located in the San Martín neighborhood of the town of Santa Fe.
Likewise, “preliminary information indicates that he died from asphyxiation,” the authorities mentioned, adding that the attorney had not communicated with any family member since January 20. Therefore, relatives approached the property and realized what had happened, later they notified the Police.
According to the Police, the attorney was constantly communicating by phone with the mother, so she became worried when he stopped calling her and notified the authorities.
According to Juan Carlos Arévalo Rodríguez, commander of the Operational Reaction and Support Command of the Bogotá Police, Molina died over the weekend and they are currently investigating whether the victim had received threats.
For their part, the Police Sijín and the CTI carry out the technical inspection of the body to determine what happened. In addition, they review the images from the security cameras of the building where Molina lived to find those who would be responsible for the alleged homicide.
