The Guinean reggaeman artist and politician, Elie Kamano, deplores the restrictions imposed, for two months, on certain Guinean media by the CNRD.
The leader of the Guinean Party for Solidarity, Democracy and Development (PGSD), recalls that he was the first to denounce the injustice done to media men in Guinea as an artist in his album “Koudey” released in 2006 under the regime of Lansana Conté.
Continuing, Elie Kamano explains the reasons which, according to him, have led the country’s current authorities to close certain media: “Without wanting to defend Gaoual with whom I do not share the same ideals since he changed sides to move from opponent to ruler, but the reliable information that I have, certain executives of the old regime who are in prison give information to certain media outside, to attack the CNRD, they direct or they disorient the editorial line of certain media . Furthermore, Elie Kamano emphasizes that the fallen regime never went so far as to close a radio or television. For him, there are things left unsaid behind the closure of the media.
