A new render released by 91Mobiles shows what the speculated look might look like 12.9-inch iPad Air — which don’t reveal many new features, other than the larger size and a new arrangement of the camera module.
In terms of design, the model might follow the same pattern as the current iPad Pro and the 10.9″ iPad Air itself — with a full-screen look, a FaceTime camera positioned on the side and flat edges.
It is also expected that the Touch ID be kept on the top button, as on the current model — in addition, of course, to the door USB-C.
The only real difference in design is the back camerawhich might include the camera sensor and flash in a single module (reminiscent of the iPhones X/XS/XS Max), instead of just having an elevated camera.
It is important to highlight that, as with rumors involving rendersthere is no guarantee that the images represent the final design.
Ultimately, the 91Mobiles also reiterated rumors that the next generation iPad Air will feature the chip M2. The model might go into production in the current quarter, so a possible launch is expected in the first half of 2024.
