HOUSTON ‑Three people were killed and five others were injured Sunday following a shooting at a house party at a Houston rental house, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies say a woman and two men were killed in a shooting in the 4600 block of Russet Leaf Trace. A man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene, but the other victim was taken to the hospital and later died. At least two injured people were admitted to the hospital. Sheriff Ed believes more people may have been injured in the shooting.
Those involved in the shooting are believed to be in their 20s. Authorities say they don’t know if the suspects were inside the home or if someone came uninvited and opened fire.
