This Monday, January 2, marks the return of turbulent weather with a gale accompanied by sustained rain. Few regions escape this agitation.

– a wind blow in the north this morning, with gusts of 100 km/h north of the Somme

– the return of the rains and showers over 3/4 of the country

– rising temperatures and general mildness tempered by wind and rain

Evolution compared to yesterday: the change in weather is radical with the return of rain and showers to 3/4 of the country. The wind also marks the news, with sometimes strong gusts, particularly near the English Channel. In terms of temperatures, mildness prevails, tempered by wind and rain.

In Hauts-de-France, a gale is sweeping the region this morning with gusts of 100 km/h. In the followingnoon, the wind weakened. On the sky side, it is the showers that punctuate your day in the middle of some nice clearings.

Of the Pays de la Loire au Paris Basin until the Ardennes, a gust of wind concerns you with gusts of 70-80 km/h this morning before weakening. After the rains at the end of the night, it is the showers in variable skies which take over.

Over all regions extending from Aquitaine au Great East au Massif central, to the Burgundyau Jura and to Rhône-Alpes, your day takes place in the rain. These rains are occasionally sustained and accompanied by strong winds which reach 70 km/h.

Min temperature 3 to 8°C Max temperature 9 to 15°C

Of Midi-Pyrenees au south of the Alps to the Mediterranean and in Corse, it’s cool this morning. But the sky becomes more and more cloudy as the hours pass. A few showers circulate over Midi-Pyrénées in the evening while the edges of the Mediterranean remain dry under a westerly wind which strengthens to 60 km/h in gusts.

Further trend: Tuesday, the weather will remain rainy and windy in the north. From the Pyrenees to the south-east, clearings are still necessary. Everywhere else, the sky will be cloudy with a few showers.
