Ram Mandir inauguration: For the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya (Ram Mandir) Senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani will not attend. Due to extreme cold, he announced that he will not attend the Prana Pratishtha. LK Advani was at the forefront of the agitation for the Ram Temple strike. Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Teertha Temple, the Ram Mandir Trust, had earlier stated that LK Advani and his party colleague Murali Manohar Joshi are unlikely to participate in the Pran Pratishtha due to their health and age. Advani’s arrival at the inauguration ceremony of the Ram temple had earlier raised many concerns.

“Both are elders in the family and given their age, they were requested not to come. It was accepted by both of them,” Ramkshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai told reporters last month. However, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader had told news agency ANI earlier this month that LK Advani would participate in the inauguration of the Ram Temple. Alok Kumar, International Working President of VHP, had said that the BJP would make all necessary arrangements and medical facilities for him. In December, VHP invited LK Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi to attend the inauguration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, Ayodhya is all set for the inauguration of the Ram Temple. Ayodhya is full of flowers, street lamps and posters of Lord Rama. A child idol of Lord Rama is enshrined in the newly built Ram Temple. The consecration will take place between 12.20 pm and 12.30 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Ram Janmabhoomi at 11 am to attend the function. The Prime Minister is the master of ceremonies. After the consecration, the temple will be opened for public from tomorrow. A long line of dignitaries arrive in Ayodhya to participate in the Prana Pratishtha ceremony.
