In a statement, the IRGC said that “in addition to killing four Iranian military advisers serving in Syria, there were also officers in the Syrian forces” who died following the fierce Israeli attack.

The statement did not provide further information on the number of deaths among Syrian forces.

Iran’s Mehr news agency also reported that four IRGC members were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a neighborhood in the Syrian capital.

“Two senior IRGC military advisers in Syria and two other members of the IRGC were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Syrian capital Damascus,” Mehr reported.

Meanwhile, Syria’s SANA news agency also confirmed the attack but did not provide detailed information on casualties.

Israel allegedly launched an attack once morest a residential building in the Al-Mazah neighborhood of western Damascus on Saturday.

A non-governmental organization, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said in a statement that a violent explosion was heard in the Al-Mazah neighborhood, west of Damascus, next to Al Mosque. -Muhammadi due to Israeli missiles targeting a 4-story building.

According to initial reports, the attack left five people dead, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights added. The attack also resulted in the complete destruction of the building.
