Six armed bandits carjacked a veteran teacher outside a Queens high school, pistol-whipping the educator in front of his family and taking off with his BMW and $450, cops said.

Co-workers at Francis Lewis High School identified the victim as Christopher Dash, a longtime Junior ROTC instructor.

Dash was smacked in the head with a gun during the terrifying 5:30 a.m. heist on Jan. 11 outside the 4,266-student Fresh Meadows school – one in a recent series of luxury carjackings in Queens.

As Dash, his wife, and son got out of the car, the thieves “forcibly removed” their wallets, a cell phone, ID, debit cards, and laptops.

Cops first reported the bandits took $7,000 in cash, but following that sum was published in The Post, officials said the correct amount was $450. An NYPD spokesperson might not explain how the wrong number made it into police records.

One crook hit Dash in the head with a gun, causing a laceration, police said.

Five males and a female got out and brandished weapons while demanding the keys and belongings, according to the NYPD. Matthew McDermott

Last month, at least five other people in Queens were terrorized by armed carjackers who commandeered a Porsche, a Mercedes Benz, and three other BMWs.

The robbers struck two victims in the head and grabbed  $1,800 in cash, a watch, a cell phone, and a jacket before speeding off.

The NYPD has made no arrests.

Word of Dash’s ordeal spread quickly among concerned faculty at Francis Lewis, Queens’ largest high school, which boasts the nation’s largest JROTC program.

Dash declined to comment.
