Indiana Jones is ready to embark on a new adventure, once once more with Harrison Ford giving face to the iconic character. This time, Indy will face the Nazis and will have to overcome several challenges in the next game developed by MachineGames. During the Xbox Developer Direct, the first trailer for “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” was revealed, showing more details regarding the game, including its camera style, whip moves, and more.
Confirming what was already being speculated by players, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” will be a first-person game, with the idea of making you really feel like you are in the role of an archaeologist. However, the character will appear a lot during cutscenes, and might also be seen in third person in some parts of the gameplay, such as crossing moments. Check out the game’s first trailer below.
Launching in 2024 directly on Xbox Game Pass
After acquiring Bethesda, Microsoft also started to own a series of renowned subsidiaries, including MachineGames, which means that the new action-adventure game starring Indiana will be exclusive to Xbox on consoles, and will also come to PC. Scheduled for release in 2024, without a specific date yet, the game will arrive directly in the Xbox Game Pass catalog, like all Microsoft exclusives.
Troy Baker will play the iconic character
Although the character’s face is that of Harrison Ford, who immortalized Indy in cinemas, in the game the performance will be due to another well-known name in the industry. Troy Baker will play the archaeologist in the new adventure, repeating something we saw in theaters, with the character possessing charm, humor and charisma.
Troy is already known among video game fans for having done several works on major titles. The actor played Joel in “The Last of Us”, Higgs in “Death Stranding”, Joker in “Batman Arkham Origins” and has also played several other prominent roles in various franchises.
