This loss is really bitter for Bundesliga soccer team LASK: Rene Renner will probably be out for the rest of the season.
The left-back has already missed the training camp due to knee problems, but it is now clear: Renner will have to undergo an operation on the patellar tendon tomorrow.
“Rene is an absolute top performer for us, whose loss obviously hurts us. He will receive every support from us and we will do everything we can to ensure that he can return to the pitch as soon as possible. “As we know Rene, he will come back even stronger,” says LASK sports director Radovan Vujanovic.
Renner played 14 competitive games for LASK in the past autumn season. His problems with his left knee joint now required surgical intervention. Structured rehabilitation is then planned.
