The government has presented an adjustment plan for the extension section of Seoul Subway Line 5, which has been lagging due to conflict between Incheon City and Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province. The ‘U-shaped’ route that Incheon City previously submitted to the government last year has a total of 11 stations, including 4 stations in Incheon, 6 in Gimpo, and 1 in Seoul. On the other hand, the number of ‘I-shaped’ routes submitted by Gimpo City was 2 within Incheon jurisdiction, which was less than that within Incheon City.
