This Thursday, January 18, TF1 broadcast the second and third episodes of the new series Rivière-Perdue. SPOILER ALERT! Don’t read on if you haven’t seen these episodes and want to keep the surprise. At the end of the third episode, Balthus (Jean-Michel Tinivelli) had discovered a decisive element for the investigation into the disappearance of young Lucie. He therefore leaves in the middle of the night to verify his hypothesis, but is spotted by a suspect. During episode 4, Alix (Barbara Cabrita) and Victor (Nicolas Gob) end up finding the lifeless body of Balthus.
Rivière-Perdue: the scene of Balthus’ death was planned differently
In Rivière-Perdue, viewers therefore discovered the remains of Balthus on the grounds of an abandoned factory. This scene was not quite planned like that at the start: “At the start, this scene had been written in another way, Alix did not see the body of Balthus which was inside a pile of stones , we only saw an arm with its watch sticking out. It was much more complicated for Barbara and Nicolas who arrived and had to react to the discovery of the body. There was discussion and they finally decided to put the body in Balthus apparent”, Jean-Michel Tinivelli explained to us. And Barbara Cabrita adds: “At first, I asked myself how to play with just one hand sticking out? I talked regarding it with Jean-Michel, asking him if he wanted to be there that day, and he asked me. ‘answered ‘yes of course’.” “The whole relationship that we built with Jean-Michel during filming meant that on the big day, he was very generous because it really wasn’t easy for him since it was very cold outside, he was on gravel and he shouldn’t have moved,” she said.
