Why the end of your student life is a turning point

“The All Japan Championship is a special stage”

Often spoken by skaters and their coaches.

One of the reasons why it is a special stage is that it is a competition that is used to select representatives for international competitions such as the World Championships or the Olympics. But that’s not all. It is a stage that skaters have admired and set their sights on since they were little.

Furthermore, many skaters use it as a place to “culminate” their competitive lives. In many cases, at the end of their student lives, they set their sights on competition and compete in the All Japan Championships to perform to the best of their ability.

There is a reason why the end of a student’s life is a turning point. This is because the path forward as to how to proceed as a skater is unclear. Aside from top skaters, the environment for professional skaters to compete is not conducive, even from an economic perspective. There aren’t many options if you want to continue.

But what if there were more paths to choose from?

The company that holds this potential is “Kansuriya,” produced by Daisuke Takahashi. It will be held for three days from February 10th to 12th at the Fukuoka Orvision Ice Arena.

Each performance lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes, and there will be 3 performances per day. Normally, the duration is just over two and a half hours, which is unusual for an ice show. Ticket prices are also kept low compared to regular ice shows.

“We hope that not only those who have watched and supported us over the years will come, but also those who have never seen an ice show before.”

“I think two or two and a half hours feels long for first-timers, so I made the performance time one hour and 15 minutes.Of course, we will make sure that you can enjoy it in that time.”

Takahashi says.

The experiment is not limited to the framework of performances. In addition to skaters who have been active in domestic and international competitions and ice shows such as Takahashi, Yachu Muramoto, Kanako Murakami, Kazuki Tomono, Sota Yamamoto, Takashiro Shimada, Seinan Miyake, and Yuna Aoki, there are 14 “ensemble skaters” will be appearing.

Most of them are current students and have never participated in an ice show performed by top skaters.
