Pierce Brosnan failed to appear in court for his Wyoming National Park offenses.

The actor of James Bond faces two counts of entering a prohibited thermal area of Yellowstone National Park in November 2023. Mammoth Terraces Hot Springs and Thermal Area are both fragile ecosystems located in the park. They are also dangerous. Twenty people have already died from falling into boiling water, and last November a deceased man was found floating in one of the hot springs.
The park regulations are very strict. Visitors are required to respect the following rules: “Do not travel in thermal areas following dark; provisions are not allowed in thermal areas; it is prohibited to modify or place objects in the sources; and it is prohibited to swim, soak or bathe in waters that are entirely of thermal origin. »
Pierce Brosnan was summoned to the Yellowstone Justice Center on Jan. 23 to respond to these summonses, which are considered misdemeanor violations. However, the actor requested the hearing be canceled and pleaded not guilty in written documents. The hearing has been postponed and is now set for a virtual conference on February 20.
If Pierce Brosnan, 70, is convicted of the offense charged once morest him, he might face a fine of up to $5,000. Previously, visitors have been jailed for up to six months for the same offense.
