Amid the uncertainty regarding the future of Paramore, the producer of the Estéreo Picnic Festival announced that the group will not participate in the 2024 edition.
A few days ago, the band attracted attention because they canceled their iHeartRadio ALter EGO presentation and subsequently deleted their social media posts. This raised suspicions that they might be breaking up.

Although they have not commented on the matter, one of the strongest hypotheses suggests that the sudden changes would have to do with their 20-year contract with Atlantic Records.
However, now that their concerts have been canceled in various parts of Latin America, many of their fans are not sure regarding this.

In the case of Bogotá, Páramo Presenta announced on the morning of this January 18 that there would be a change of headliner on the poster for Thursday, March 21 of the FEP 2024.
Initially, it would be the group made up of Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro, but, according to an official statement, it will now be Kings of Leon.
Why did Paramore cancel their concert at the Estéreo Picnic?
“Multi-Grammy and Brit Award winners Kings of Leon will now headline the Estéreo Picnic Festival on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Recognized as one of the biggest alternative rock bands in the world for the last 20 years, they have been the main attraction in the largest and most prestigious festivals on the planet (…) After almost a decade of their only concert in Colombia, they return to a different world,” says the official statement.

Regarding why they will not perform, the producer clarified that it was “due to personal circumstances of the band”, which is why they will not perform at Lollapalooza Brazil, nor at Vive Latino in Mexico.
