Thomas Mohr’s live guest: Gundula Marie Beduhn, whose fiancé was arrested during the wedding ceremony at the weekend. He still faces deportation today.
Vienna (OTS) – What was supposed to be the best day of life turned out to be a real nightmare for Gundula Marie Beduhn. During the wedding ceremony in Vösendorf Castle (Lower Austria), her future husband was taken away in front of her by officers from the immigration police and taken into custody. “I can only emphasize once once more that this action was sadistic. We walked in, the ceremony began. My friend had already turned on the music, the registrar was laughing and happy, then she left for a moment because she had apparently forgotten something and then suddenly came back with a lot of police officers.”, she says in the PULS 24 interview. The 26-year-old Kurdish Hamza’s asylum application was finally rejected ten days before the wedding, and he is still threatened with being returned to Turkey today.
According to statements from his lawyer Georg Bracket, the man did not have a valid residence permit in Austria at the time of the marriage, but he did “The police, however, do not have the right to prevent the marriage”. Beduhn rejects the accusation of a possible marriage of convenience: “We have known each other for a year and a half. He is my true love.” The 40-year-old is talking regarding her experience today at prime time, exclusively & live, in the news magazine “Heiß Umfehdet” on JOYN and PULS 24 with PULS 24 news anchor Thomas Mohr. The topic will then be discussed further in “Wild Controversial” (PULS 24, 9:00 p.m.).
