The European regional office of the World Health Organization (OMS) alerts to the increase in flu cases in several countries in recent weeks, which is generating greater pressure on hospitals and is expected to continue increasing.

The director of the WHO for Europe, Hans Kluge, expressed concern regarding reports of pressure in hospitals and overload in emergency rooms, due to the circulation of several respiratory viruses.
