Sofía was very diligent in her studies and liked to share with her classmates, she was beautiful, cheerful and happy, she loved her parents and they loved her, she was the light in their eyes. The only daughter and only granddaughter, commented some people who know the family.

Her parents William Rafael Pineda Farías, a renowned traumatologist in the city, and Emmary Mancilla Leal from Los Angeles, who were slightly injured in the accident, arrived in Cabimas this Tuesday, January 16, with the remains of the girl, visibly shocked and with deep regret. along with family and community, for the physical departure of her only and beloved daughter who was beginning to live and whose dreams were cut short by fate.
The event has caused great shock among her family, friends and the Cabimense community, who have shown solidarity and joined in the pain that overwhelms the Pineda Mancilla family, in the face of the sad physical loss of their little girl, happy, studious, friendly, obedient and responsible.
The little girl’s remains are being laid to rest at the Santa Elena Funeral Home in the city of Cabimas and will be buried at 10 in the morning in the Punta Gorda cemetery.
The girl Sofía tragically lost her life when the white Dodge Caliber, where she was traveling with her parents, overturned on the Falcón-Zulia highway, in the direction of Falcón-Cabimas.
Apparently structural failures in the sector’s bridge caused the overturn.
