Created in 1992 to respond to major health challenges, the Hospital Clinical Research Program (PHRC) has established itself as a major source of funding for research teams in health structures. To mark the 30th anniversary of the program, the Ministry of Labor, Health and Solidarity is organizing a half-day event on January 18, 2024. Objective: present an assessment of the scientific results and impact and address future challenges.
By PHRC has been laying the foundations for applied research in French health for 30 years by meeting a triple objective:
Boost hospital clinical research with a view to promoting medical progress; Participate in improving the quality of care through the evaluation of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods; Scientifically validate new medical knowledge with a view to identifying therapeutic innovations and implementing dissemination strategies in the health system.
Each year, by circular, the General Directorate for Healthcare Supply (DGOS) launches a call for research projects allowing hospital teams to submit applications to obtain funding within the available envelope.
