Free gave a big clue over the weekend regarding the presentation of its future Freebox V9. In a message published Saturday January 13 on Instagramthe internet service provider has published four images which celebrate its three boxes still on the market, from the venerable Freebox Revolution to the most recent Freebox Pop, plus the new generation that was originally expected at the end of the year 2023. It will ultimately be at the beginning of the year 2024 and even between January 21 and February 19 of this year, if we are to believe the clue slipped into these images.
The three existing Freeboxes… And the little news, associated with the astrological sign of Aquarius, a detail which is important.
In fact, each box is associated with an astrological sign which corresponds to its presentation period. The Freebox Revolution, for example, was unveiled on December 14, 2010, right in the Sagittarius zone. The Freebox Pop was made official on July 7, 2020, in the middle of the Cancer period. Each time, Free slipped the corresponding astrological sign onto its images, so that that of Aquarius is a big clue for the release of the Freebox V9.
This sign is associated with the period which begins this Sunday January 21 and which will end on Monday February 19. Free always choosing Tuesdays to present its new products, there are four options left in this period: January 23 or 30, or February 6 or 13. In short, if you were impatiently waiting for the new Freebox, it shouldn’t be too long now…
