The Casablanca Stock Exchange ended lower on Monday, its flagship index, the MASI, losing 0.39% to 12,452.98 points (pts).
The MASI.20, an index bringing together the 20 most liquid stocks, and the MASI.ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating, as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, respectively dropped 0.49% to 1,017.97 pts. and 0.43%, at 928.71 pts.
For its part, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, the thematic index which calculates the price performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, fell by 0.25% to 1,016.78 pts.
On the international side, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 and the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid ended the session with respective losses of 0.59% to 11,516.27 pts and 0.41% to 10,466.34 pts.

On a sectoral level, the real estate participation and development index showed the sharpest decline (-1.43%), followed by those of insurance (-1.37%) and transport services (-1.25 %).
Counter-trend, the forestry and paper index showed the strongest increase (+4.84%), ahead of leisure and hotels (+3.89%) and the pharmaceutical industry (+1. 87%). Trading amounted to 86.43 million dirhams (MDH), carried out mainly on the Central market (Shares). The volume of the Central market (Shares) amounted to 62.73 MDH, while that of the Block market (Bonds) amounted to 14.04 MDH and that of transfers to 9.65 MDH.
By value, BCP occupied first place among the most active instruments with a transactional flow of 12.76 million dirhams, ahead of Label Vie (9.18 million dirhams) and Jet Contractors (4.5 million dirhams).
The market capitalization exceeded 645.43 billion dirhams (billion dirhams).
At individual values, the largest declines were posted by Sanlam Maroc (-8.34% to 1,132 DH), Ib Maroc.Com (-6.22% to 22 DH), Managem (-2.42% to 1,854 DH ), HPS (-2.26% to 606 DH) and Stokvis North Africa (-2.01% to 10.73 DH). Conversely, Med Paper (+4.84% to 19.94 DH), Risma (+3.89% to 197.4 DH), Microdata (+2.89% to 637.9 DH), Minière Touissit (+2.73% to 1,130 DH) and Disty Technologies (+2.63% to 195 DH) achieved the best performances.
