- The prize money. The prize money for the 84th Hahnenkamm race for alpine ski men from Friday to Sunday in Kitzbühel is 1,000,500 euros. For the first time, this record sum is divided evenly between the two runs “Kitzbühel” on Friday and “Hahnenkamm” on Saturday as well as the slalom on Sunday for the top 30 in each case. The winner will receive 100,000 euros, the second 50,000 and the third 25,000.Kitzbühel. Currently: Alpine skiing: A full number of ÖSV downhill skiers are once more planning a counterattack in Kitz
- The first training. The first training for the men’s Alpine Ski World Cup downhills in Kitzbühel will take place on Tuesday. Another is planned for Wednesday or Thursday. This means at least one day of rest for the racers before the Kitzbühel run on Friday and the Hahnenkamm run on Saturday (starting time at 11.30 a.m.) on the Streif.
