Kim Nguyen Minh Hoang is appointed general director of the Fédération des Hôpitaux Vaudois Informatique. He takes office on March 1.
The Fédération des Hôpitaux Vaudois Informatique (FHVi) announces the appointment of its new general director, Mr. Kim Nguyen Minh Hoang. He will take office on March 1. He succeeds Lionel Tissot, interim director. Last October, the FHVi announced that its director Philippe Theytaz was retiring.
“Kim Nguyen’s combined experience in IT and healthcare, as well as his expertise in leading transformation projects in complex governance contexts, make him an ideal choice for this position,” comments Aline Isoz, President of the association which, since 1985, has managed the information systems of Vaud regional hospitals.
Kim Nguyen is a graduate of the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon and holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and Strategy from the London Business School. After starting his career at Elca, he held positions of responsibility at Ferring Pharmaceuticals and at the WHO. Between 2015 and 2018, the new director of the FHVi served as Director of Information Systems within Médecins Sans Frontières. In 2018, Kim Nguyen set up his consulting company specializing in the management of organizational, digital, strategic and transformational projects. In this context, he served as Strategic Advisor to the ICRC.
Last fall, the FHVi adopted new governance by establishing a Board of Directors. The latter has four members: Julie Udry (lawyer, specialist in HR issues and good governance); Paul Such (founder and director of Hacknowledge); Pierre Delaloye (former partner at EY; Marc Besson (director of information systems at IMAD).
