In 5 years of implementation of Article 51 of the social security financing law (LFSS) of 2018 relating to innovative experiments in health, 144 projects have been developed in mainland France and in the departments and regions of Overseas, according to the report to Parliament 2023 on innovative health experiments.
La Mutualité Française has implemented several national and regional projects as part of these experiments. At the national level, with the Red Cross and the Hospitalité Saint-Thomas de Villeneuve group, the Mutualité Française has experimented with the reinforced home support system (DRAD) for elderly people losing their autonomy, in order to offer people elderly people wishing to use all the services offered in an EHPAD, while remaining at home, in their familiar environment. At the regional level, she carried out 4 projects, including specialist consultations for people with disabilities, an outpatient care center for people with osteoarticular pathologies, scalable housing for the autonomy of elderly people developed by the Center of Expertise National Information and Communication Technologies for Autonomy (CENTICH) managed by the VYV group. It is also a partner in an experiment on the management of chronic or complex wounds in Corsica.
