Axel Salhi and Arslane Guedioura, both playing for Bourges Moulon (National 3), died in a road accident which occurred on Sunday morning. Axel Salhi notably wore the colors of AJ Auxerre, with whom he won the Gambardella Cup in 2014.
The amateur footballer is in mourning. Axel Salhi and Arslane Guedioura, respectively goalkeeper and attacker of Bourges Moulon (Nationale 3), lost their lives in a road accident which occurred Sunday morning on the A71. They were both 26 years old.
According to Berry Républicain, they were going to Auvergne to go skiing. According to initial testimonies, the two players’ car slipped on the road and hit a truck, which was stationary following a first accident. Two young women were transported to Clermont-Ferrand hospital in an “absolute emergency” situation. A third individual, Namory Bakayoko, also a Bourges Moulon player, is more lightly injured.
