The NUC continues its journey in the Swiss Women’s Volleyball Cup. In the round of 16 of the competition, the Neuchâteloises got rid of Kanti Schaffhausen, not without difficulty, on Sunday at La Riveraine, at the end of a breathtaking and high-level debate. In front of 750 spectators, they won 3-2, in the tie-break, 20-25 25-22 23-25 25-17 15-12.
In reality, Lauren Bertolacci’s players were not far from elimination. After a failed start to the match, they set the record straight in the second set without managing to continue in the next set. The NUC was shaky and this is why Lauren Bertolacci felt that it was necessary to breathe new life into her basic six: Alix de Micheli made a remarkable comeback in the fourth set.
