Shenzhen trade reveals ‘Cross-border e-commerce’ surges 74.4% in 2023

SHENZHEN, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) — On Saturday (Jan. 13), the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce in south China’s Guangdong Province Shenzhen’s cross-border e-commerce trade volume was reported at 326 billion yuan (regarding 1.63 trillion baht), up 74.4 percent year on year.

Data shows that the number of cross-border e-commerce export companies in Shenzhen currently exceeds 150,000, accounting for nearly half of Chinese merchants on platforms such as Alibaba.com. (Alibaba.com), AliExpress, Lazada and eBay, while one-third of Chinese merchants in Amazon come from Shenzhen.
