The black and white is a breed of domestic rabbit (In zoological nomenclature, the breed is a taxonomic rank lower than the speciesโฆ) originally from England, a cross between black light rabbits and chinchilla rabbits.
Origin

The breed developed in Europe in the second half of the 20th century, and was admitted in France in 1972 under the name โRenard silverโ before being renamed โblack and whiteโ in 1984.
