Exempting Citizens from Traffic Violation Fees: Public Prosecution Announcement

The Public Prosecutor, Counselor Mohamed Shawqi, directed that all citizens be exempted from paying for the grievance service for traffic violations in the event that the grievance examination results in the violation being recorded incorrectly, its inaccuracy, or the violation not being specific to the vehicle subject to the grievance.

The Public Prosecution confirmed in a statement today, Saturday, that the mechanisms for providing the grievance service for traffic violations are (the Public Prosecution website ppo.gov.eg – Traffic Prosecutions in all governorates of the Republic – Egyptian Post Offices).

The Attorney General’s decision came in light of His Excellency the Attorney General’s keenness to listen to citizens’ complaints and suggestions, and within the framework of the electronic services provided by the Public Prosecution, and to facilitate those dealing with it in the various traffic prosecutions in all governorates.
