[Warning????]There are indeed endless scammers. HKEPC reader Mr. Wu reported to the editor that he bought an MSI GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card from Amazon in October last year. Unexpectedly, what he received was a quilt. Even though he opened the box There were sometimes videos taken to record the incident, but following many negotiations with Amazon customer service and reporting to the Hong Kong police as required, the case was still refused. The victim hopes to tell everyone regarding his experience to prevent more people from falling victim to the crime.
According to Mr. Wu, he ordered a new MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming Deducted and shipped within 20 days, using AmazonGlobal standard delivery, the price is US$1,729.99, a discount of approximately HKD 13,787.80.
Listening to the shopping experiences of other brothers, I always take pictures when I unbox something when buying something from Amazon. The goods arrived by DHL on November 25, with the waybill number 59655900150. I found that the box was lighter than expected and I knew something was wrong. After opening the Amazon Prime seal, , inside was a compressed white quilt, and there was no MSI GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. It was determined to be a scam.

When Mr. Wu provided the Hong Kong police case report with the report number KC RN 23026355 to Amazon customer service, Amazon responded that it still believed that the goods provided by the seller were correct. It also stated that it might not verify the details of the police report and therefore refused further assistance.
Mr. Wu feels quite helpless as HK$13,XXX disappeared without any reason. He hopes to remind everyone through his experience through HKEPC that you must be careful when buying wild products on Amazon to avoid being a fool.
