Wanda Nara and Darío Barassi will be the hosts of “Love is Blind Argentina”, the international reality show that is in its fifth season in the United States and that follows a group of 16 men and 16 women who will meet through booths without visual contact and under these conditions they will start a love relationship that might lead to marriage.
The project, produced by the Netflix platform, began filming this week in Mexico City and will end in the next few weeks in the city of Buenos Aires, where the weddings of the participating couples who decide to get married will be celebrated.
A mix of reality and social experiment, the spirit of “Love is Blind” aspires to make it clear that there are things more important than appearances when it comes to finding a loving relationship.
The idea is that couples have dates guided solely by the connection and chemistry of those encounters without seeing face to face or having physical contact and that from there they might choose each other to get married.
The couples formed during the dating stage will then enjoy a romantic trip to the paradisiacal beaches of Tulum, the Mexican Mayan coast, then return to Buenos Aires and face the challenge of routine and coexistence, before passing through the altar to confirm the decision to stay together or give up on the idea.
“Love is Blind” has different editions around the world to which this new Argentine version will be added: Love is Blind United States, with five seasons; Love is Blind Japan, with one; Love is Blind Brasil, which has already been on for three seasons; and Love is Blind Sweden, whose first season will premiere on January 12.
