This Thursday Anahí Rizzo, the eldest daughter of the renowned actor Raúl Rizzo, died. The woman was 34 years old and her body was found in her Constitución apartment. For that reason, the ATE Trabajo account dedicated an emotional post to someone who was a worker at the Mandatory Labor Conciliation Service (SECLO). “See you always, Anahí, we are left with your smile,” was the phrase that began her heartfelt farewell.
“Still stunned and shocked by the pain, we inform our colleagues of the death at home of our dear colleague Anahí Rizzo Quinteros, SECLO worker, affiliate and activist of our ATE-Trabajo,” the text continued.

“As we write these lines we cannot account for this tremendous news that we must share. We find the premature departure of Anahí, with whom we shared numerous moments of struggle, sadness and joy, completely unacceptable,” they added in the statement.

In addition, they remembered their days of struggle in the union: “In March 2016 Ana was fired from our Ministry, along with hundreds of colleagues from all over the country. From the first moment she joined the Dismissal Commission and, along with many other colleagues, she was an active protagonist in the fight for reinstatement.”
“Those of us who fought alongside him will miss his clarity, courage and creativity in the daily struggle. Anahí found a way to face the hardest moments with joyful rebellion, infecting everyone around her. Although we know that, these days, she was very distressed by the context of uncertainty and attacks on workers that we are going through,” they lamented in the statement.

“Beyond the clinical reasons for his departure, for us there is no doubt regarding the experiential context of anguish in which his absurd loss occurs, and that marks us with fire. We will not forget it for a single minute in the time to come, and we will redouble our strength to fight once morest the causes of this sorrow that affects our people,” they noted in the publication.
