Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor has unveiled its first flagship smartphone of 2024, ‘Magic 6 Pro’.
The Magic 6 Pro is equipped with a 6.8-inch curved LTPO AMOLED display on the front with a resolution of 1264 x 2800px and a variable refresh rate of 1~120Hz. This panel supports 1800 nits maximum brightness in automatic mode and 5000 nits maximum brightness for HDR content.
On the back, a triple camera is provided, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 180MP periscope camera that supports 2.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The front punch hole cutout is equipped with a 50MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 3D depth face unlock module.
In addition, the Magic 6 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 3rd generation chipset and is equipped with up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a 5600mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 66W wireless charging.
It also has IP68-rated dust and water resistance, and supports satellite communication connectivity in China. ‘Magic 6 Pro’ will be officially sold in China on January 18th. The price starts at 5,699 yuan (regarding 1.04 million won) for the 12GB + 256GB version, and the 16GB + 1TB version is sold at 6,699 yuan (regarding 1.22 million won).
