Minus 13 degrees on Tuesday: This is what the weather will be like next week

Geosphere Austria forecast isolated snowfall in Vienna and Lower Austria for Friday. However, it will become milder over the next few days.

From Vorarlberg to Salzburg and south of the main Alpine ridge, the Freitag sunny and dry weather. Any early fog will mostly clear following a few hours. From Upper Austria eastwards, however, it is often very cloudy or overcast with low-lying clouds. In isolated cases it may snow lightly from the cloud cover in Vienna and Lower Austria. The wind blows quite briskly from the west-northwest in the northeast and on the eastern edge of the Alps, otherwise it often remains light. The early temperatures are minus twelve to zero degrees, the daily maximum temperatures are minus three to plus three degrees.

Especially in the north of the country there are… Saturday initially very foggy cloud fields. Most of the time there will be no precipitation, but there may be a little bit of snow in places. As the day progresses it loosens up more and more so that the sun comes out at times. In the rest of Austria the sunshine predominates, in the west and south the sky is often cloudless with weak wind conditions. In the north and east, however, the wind blows moderately to briskly from westerly directions. The early temperatures are minus twelve to minus one degrees, the daily maximum temperatures are minus two to plus five degrees.

Particularly in the western and southern parts of the country, Sunday sunny and dry weather. Further to the north and east, however, a few denser clouds will pass through during the day, with sometimes brisk westerly to northwesterly winds. With them, a few snowflakes are possible, especially in northern Upper and Lower Austria. In between, the sun also shows up here at times. Temperatures range from minus twelve to plus one degree in the morning, then rise to minus four to plus six degrees during the day.

Am Montag The sun mostly shines south of the main Alpine ridge. However, in some basins and valleys, fog or high fog may persist for a few hours. Further to the north and east, however, there are numerous dense clouds in addition to short sunny periods. These cause local snowfall, especially on the northern edge of the Alps and in the Waldviertel and Mühlviertel. The wind remains weak in the south away from the mountains, otherwise it blows briskly, in places also strongly, from the west to northwest. After minus eight to plus two degrees in the morning, temperatures rise to minus one to plus seven degrees during the day.

Austria remains on Tuesday in a tight western current. With this, there will be a mix of sunny sections and a few denser clouds until the evening north of the main Alpine ridge as well as in the north and east. On the northern edge of the Alps or in the Waldviertel it is still snowing lightly in places during the morning hours. Further to the south and southeast, however, the weather will be sunny and dry following the last local fog has cleared. The wind will come from westerly directions until the followingnoon and will blow moderately to briskly eastwards from Upper Austria. However, the wind then decreases and turns increasingly towards the south. The early temperatures are minus 13 to plus two degrees, the lowest temperatures are in East Tyrol and inner Alpine. During the day temperatures reach minus four to plus five degrees.
