New alliance demands: Successful mobility transition also requires good working conditions in public bus transport
Vienna. (OTS) – A successful mobility transition with more public transport also requires good working conditions and more staff. Expanding the offering and routes alone is not enough. Therefore, the climate protection organizations Fridays For Future and System Change in Austria have joined forces with the vida transport union to form the new alliance “We ride together” to fight for better conditions for bus drivers in public transport and successful climate protection. The alliance is also supported by the AK Vienna.
The alliance’s demands on the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKÖ) and the bus companies will be presented in a press conference to which media representatives are cordially invited.
