The trial for Catherine Wilson’s divorce lawsuit from Idham Masse will continue on January 24.
Previously, the second initial trial which was held on Wednesday (10/1) failed to take place.
This is the second time Catherine Wilson has filed for divorce. Previously, the divorce lawsuit once morest Idham Masse at the South Jakarta Religious Court was dismissed.
It was rumored that the reason Catherine Wilson filed for divorce from her husband was because he was not providing enough income.
However, Dody Hariyanto said that the main reason Catherine Wilson filed for divorce was because of domestic disputes.
“The reason for filing the lawsuit is because her own life is separate, Catherine is in Jakarta, her husband is a legislator, a member of the council in Sulawesi, has his own busy schedule and finally they agreed or what, I don’t know the details, Catherine returned to her parents’ house in Depok, and sir “Idham remains in Sulawesi,” said Dody when met following the trial.
“If it’s a fight in the household, of course it’s clear, by not having the same house and having separate beds and not living under the same roof, it’s certain that they will no longer have harmony,” he continued.
Dody continued that the quarrel between Catherine Wilson and Idhan Masse had occurred not long following their marriage.
“The separation itself has been more or less a year, if the marriage had been a year. The estimate given to me was approximately one year,” he explained.
Meanwhile, regarding the issue of livelihood, Dody cannot speak clearly because it is one of the points in the divorce lawsuit that must still be kept secret.
Dody suspects that Idham Masse is still providing maintenance to Catherine Wilson, but the amount is reduced.
“If I say whether to provide a living or not, if you provide a living it may still provide but the value is less, that is information from my client,” he concluded.
