Defender Stefan Savic scored an own goal, then Brahim Diaz added a goal near the end of the second extra period, giving Real Madrid an exciting 5-3 victory over rival Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup in Riyadh on Wednesday.
Real will face the winner of the Barcelona-Osasuna match, which will be held tomorrow, Thursday, in the final, which will be held in the Saudi capital next Sunday.

When the match seemed headed to penalty kicks, the ball bounced off defender Savic and into his net 5 minutes before the end of regular time.
In the last attempt of the match, Diaz scored from a counterattack into an empty goal following goalkeeper Jan Oblak advanced into the Real penalty area in a desperate attempt to equalize from a corner kick in the final moments.
